Alaudin Malaj, a judge at the Tirana Court of Appeals, said the police were falsifying the evidences. Malaj made the statements on “5 Questions by Babaramo”.
Malaj questioned the integrity of the Police, saying it had violated the law in many cases. He said police have illegally raped citizens and that police have launched investigations into criminal groups with forged evidence.
Malaj brought a case where the police asked a citizen for an ID card down the palace in the late hours. According to Malaj, the latter told them that he had it in the ninth floor apartment and asked the officers to pick it up. The police, meanwhile, took him to the police station. “They took him 54 km away, the event happened at 12 noon. These are very dangerous phenomens for ordinary people,” he added.
In another case, he said police raped the son of a judge and his other relatives.
“What happened in Albania today? They have started sensational cases against the criminal groups of 96 and you know how they started? With forged evidence by the State Police. By state police experts and prosecutors and judges. Minutes are being falsified. Criminal law recognizes so-called scene inspection as the essential document in detecting an event. State police know what you do? Finds the car in a city and brings it to the directorate of forensic police when with the laws of the world and ours it is totally forbidden to move all the stuff on the scene, “the judge said.
