The Dibra Prosecutor’s Office Esmeralda Keshi was confirmed on duty by KPK, which also decided to send a case against her for ethical and disciplinary proceedings. The Independent Qualification Commission announced on Wednesday the decision for Kesh.
The Debar Prosecutor’s Office, Esmeralda Keshi (Cami) faced this self-defense Monday during the hearing session of the Independent Qualification Commission, KPK, where only some inaccuracies and discrepancies were identified on the criteria of wealth and professionalism.
The trial panel consisted of Pamela Qirko, Presiding Member, Etleda Couples Rapporteur and Firdes Shuli Member. As an international observer was John Leonardo. Keshi was evaluated by KPC for the three vetting criteria, including wealth, image purity and professionalism.
The Commission has identified as problematic during the administrative investigation of the subject the purchase of a land plot in Kamza by the lowest-priced spouse and the discrepancy of the statements on her joint ownership and spouse in two apartments. In the five shortened files – as part of the professional assessment, KPK found some inaccuracies, while for the figure Prosecutor Keshi was positively assessed.
Esmeralda Keshi (Cami) has completed the School of Magistrates in 2009 and has been appointed as a prosecutor at the Dibra Prosecutor’s Office. In 2013, she was promoted as head of the Dibra Prosecution Office, which she has been holding for almost 6 years.
