The Chairman of the Initiative Commission for the Establishment of the Democratic Party in Berat, Fehmi Telegrapf, has passed away today. He left behind a story full of contributions inside the blue headquarters.
The President of the Republic, Ilir Meta, also responds to this loss.
In his message, the head of state states among other things, “Personally, I will always cherish the highest esteem for this inspiring educator of many champions and record holders of Albania like Vasil Hoco with friends, who achieved outstanding results, promoted the sport of weightlifting nationally and internationally. ”

Dear friends!
It is with great sadness that I received today the news of the death of Professor Fehmi Telegrapf, one of the icons and authorities of the development of our weightlifting sport.
Personally, I will always cherish the highest esteem for this inspiring educator of many of Albania’s champions and record holders, such as Vasil Hoco, with friends who achieved outstanding results, leading the sport of weightlifting nationally and internationally.
Likewise Professor Fehmiu contributed to our national teams and their successes.
On this difficult day I am close to his family, colleagues and former athletes, as well as citizens of Berat, who were proud of his personality and successes!
