The new investigative film “Públicus”, aired every Sunday at 20:10 in Vizion Plus, has revealed the fraud of Prime Minister Edi Rama for the waste lab.
The “Públicus” camera has been able to penetrate the state-of-the-art lab of the National Environmental Agency.
It is precisely this laboratory that was served by Prime Minister Rama as one of the greatest guarantees that in Albania can not enter dangerous trash. Rama himself and his supporters have spoken about major investments, EU certification, training, etc.
But in reality the reality of the Publicus camera has highlighted a scandal. In 3 years there has not changed almost anything, as it can be seen that this laboratory has no equipment or facilities to examine contamination from recyclable waste. (Min 17: 55-20: 56)
The author of the program, Artan Rama, has gone by to touch this scandal closely by questioning the employees, but they have responded that the biggest change is space with more environments.
After this serious investigation, the question marks become even bigger: When lying about this guarantee, what interests does the prime minister have with the import of fertilizers?
Also, “Públicus” proved that the government had not allowed Albanian recycling companies to do integrated waste management. This is because Albanian urban waste will be managed through concessions that the government is giving to foreign firms.
Another detail transmitted in the “Recycling” material was about creating new companies during 2014-2016. This indicates that the government had intended to publicize the legal initiative that it overthrew three years ago.
