Judge of the Administrative Court of First Instance Gentian Medja will be on Monday before the Special Appeals Panel to find out about his fate, whether or not he will be part of the judiciary.
Judge Medja appealed to the KPA, the Public Commissioner, who opposed the decision of the KPK which confirmed him in office. Medi was confirmed on duty on November 5, 2018, but for the Public Commissioner, the hearing at the KPK was not regular as his professional side was not reviewed.
It is for this purpose that the Public Commissioner requested that the KPA conduct a preliminary evaluation of the professional evaluation for this subject, based on the proposed methodology.
But the request of the Public Commissioner was rejected by the KP, which was considered unfair, considering in this way only the documentation brought by the School of Magistrates and the High Judicial Council on the subject.
After overthrowing the Public Commissioner, the KPA decided to hear the parties’ conclusions at 10 o’clock this Monday and then make the decision.
During today’s hearing, the Presiding Judge presented the acts brought by the High Judicial Council and the School of Magistrates in response to the College’s request to these institutions.
In addition to these acts, the subject of reassessment requested the trial panel to obtain as evidence some new acts deposited by him, two of which, the decisions of the High Council of Justice and the High Judicial Council on the methodology of professional evaluation , as part of the reassessment process.
The panel decided to consider the quality of the evidence of all the acts deposited during today’s hearing and to consider both of the above decisions in view of the consideration of the case.
The Public Commissioner requested that the College conduct a preliminary professional evaluation of the subject of reassessment, based on the proposed methodology.
The Trial Panel decided not to accept the request of the Public Commissioner and decided to close the main trial, inviting the parties to present their final conclusions at the hearing on 09.09.02019 at 10:00.
The public hearing will take place in the premises of the Special Appeals Panel, at: Boulevard “Martyrs of the Nation”, no.3. Tirana.
