Saimir Tahiri and trafficker Artan Habilaj traveled to Greece in August 2014, at the time the former Interior Minister’s cousin was under investigation by the Katania Prosecutor’s Office.
“Boldnews.al” has exclusively provided part of the Prosecutor’s Office for Serious Crimes investigation file, which called for the “arrest in prison” security measure for former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri. The Serious Crimes Court, on Saturday noon, partially accepted the prosecution’s request and imposed a “house arrest” measure.

From the data obtained from the execution of letter letters from the Greek authorities of Justice and other actions in our country, it results that the person in the investigation, saimir Tahiri, Fatlinda Tahiri, Elona Gjebrea, Arian Hoxha traveled with the cruiser type cruiser Greece on 08.08.2014 The sailing vessel registered on behalf of the citizen XX was registered on 06.08.2014 when for the clearance and registration procedures of the vehicle was intervened for speeding them from the social connection of the person under investigation Saimir Tahiri who have asked the possessor of the vehicle to allow him to use the person under investigation. From the surveys carried out in the TIMS system, it results that the parents of citizen Saimir Tahiri and members of the family of citizens Arian and Elona Hoxha, to join their family members on vacation, on 09.08.2014 traveled to Greece with AA license plates 003GB with leading citizen Artan Habilaj and AA 145 GJ with leader Alban Alia. Citizens Artan Habilaj and Alban Alia returned to Albania on 10.08.2014 with a license plate AA 003 GB, a vehicle that resulted to be owned by Saimir Tahiri, although he had a sales contract with citizen Artan Habilaj.
On 14.08.2014, the citizen Artan Habilaj traveled to the Qafë Botë Border Crossing Point with the vehicle bearing AA 003 GB (this car was on the name of Saimir Tahiri but was sold to Artan Habilaj). Upon arriving there, this person (Artan Habilaj) met with the person under investigation (Saimir Tahiri) and stayed there until 16.08.2014.
On 16 August 2014, while the person under investigation ended the holiday days, it was decided to travel by ship to Albania the citizen Artan Habilaj, presenting at Saranda Port “Next Line”, while the person under investigation was the citizen Saimir Tahiri along with his family members, would travel for return with the AA 003 GB license plateau via the Border Crossing Point Qafe e Botës, tool with which Greek citizen Artan Habilaj
It also turns out that on the same day, on 16.08.2014, they returned to the Republic of Albania through the Qafë Botë Border Crossing Point, Saranda, with a license plate AA 145 GJ family of citizen Elona Hoxha (Gjebrea).
From the investigative actions carried out it resulted that the citizen Artan Habilaj, after being presented to the port of Saranda, the responsible persons of the border police did not register the sail with which a few days ago had traveled to Greece the person under investigation citizen Saimir Tahiri. Day by day Artan Habilaj traveled by boat to Vlora where he anchored at the port of speedboats at Triport Vlora.
After a few days, on 08.09.2014, he was introduced to travel with this vessel to Italy, the person under investigation, Moisi Habilaj, who requested a permit. It turns out that in the direction of Italy has traveled the person under investigation citizen Moisi Habilaj. It turns out that the expenses for the trip in question were covered by the person under investigation, Moisi Habilaj. This floating vessel turns out to be in Durres on 24.12.2014 where, in this case, since the vessel was used by the person under investigation, Saimir Tahiri was not registered at the border crossing point.
