For a few days, the High Inspectorate of Declaration and Audit of Wealth has started a thorough verification of the property of the people of justice. The statements of the foreign ambassadors, as well as of the Albanian politics, have not gone unnoticed by Chief Inspector ShkëlqimGanaj, who in recent weeks has passed “in the sieve” hundreds of wealthier statements of judges and prosecutors.
A few weeks ago, Ganaj put “prosecutors” in Tirana, calling them to give detailed explanations. He was asked to justify the source of the property, while receiving valuable documents, which he could then use in any possible denunciation.
Meanwhile, HIDRKPK said a few days ago that it began a verification of the assets of Chief Prosecutor AdriatikLlalla and his staff, who were on a visit to the US. After the news that the US Embassy refused the visa to the head of the Durrës prosecutor, AgronGjana, the Inspectorate said it would launch an investigation, which is learned that it is not yet completed.
Meanwhile, in the last days, ShkëlqimGanaj, has ordered the launch of a full verification for all Supreme Court judges, including for head XhezairZaganjori. Resources confirmed by ILDKPKI told Boldnews.al that the analysis of documents has been completed, and in the coming days judges will be invited to be asked or to submit additional materials.
According to the statements, the head of the Supreme Court declared in 2012 the income as a member of the Constitutional Court of 2 052 336 ALL, 2 507 000 ALL from teaching at the Faculty of Law, the European Institute and the School of Magistrates. He has earned € 15,000 in teaching at the European University of Tirana, 192,000 lekë from teaching at Luarasi University. Subsequently, it received 3 320 euro from cooperation with foreign foundations, 257 000 lek from cooperation with foreign foundations, 9 000 lek for a seminar at the Media Institute. He declared income of 60 408 ALL from membership to the Council for Higher Education and Science and 480 000 ALL from the lease of an environment.
In 2013 he declared the net salary as a Member of the Constitutional Court and as President of the Supreme Court 2 042 000 lek. It has an income of 1 703 000 ALL from teaching at the Faculty of Law, the European Institute and the School of Magistrates and the Office of the Anti-Discrimination Commissioner. Revenues of 17,000 euros from teaching at the European University of Tirana, 126,000 lekë from Luarasi University teaching and 1 985 euros from cooperation with foreign foundations. It has won 202,500 ALL from cooperation with foreign foundations. His wife has declared several bank deposits from her work as a notary, while her son is a specialist in the Office of the Commissioner against Discrimination 247 328 lekë. In 2013, Zaganjori paid 7,500 pounds for the master’s degree in London of RenisZaganjori.
In 2014, the head of the Supreme Court declared 1,896,000 lekë of salaries, 954,000 lekë of income from teaching, leadership, master and dr. at the Faculty of Law, at the School of Magistrates. He has won 2050 euros from teaching at Luarasi University. There is also revenue as a member of the HCJ, or from renting the basement. His wife has earned 774,000 leks as a notary, while there are some bank accounts, where the biggest is 21 thousand euros. Meanwhile, the boy has a bank account at a second-tier bank, 9,000 euros, provided by study parents in Munich (Germany). The other son has started work at the Deposit Insurance Agency, where he earned 965,000 ALL.
Meanwhile, sources from ILDKPKI argue that by analyzing the wealth of justice officials, in the coming weeks are expected to make a number of criminal reports in the prosecution.
