The KPA adjourns the examination of the complaint against Prosecutor Besnik Muçi in the Counseling Room. The postponement decision, due to the absence of Judge Natasha Mulaj, one of the members of the judiciary.
The next session will take place on September 20 at 10:00 am.
The Public Commissioner, within the legal deadline, appealed to the Special Appeals Panel before the Constitutional Court against Decision no. 58, dated 1.8.2018, of the Independent Qualification Commission, on the subject of reassessment Besnik Muçi, Prosecutor in the Prosecution Office of the Serious Crimes Court, Tirana.
The determining reasons for which the Public Commissioner considers that this Commission decision is not correct lie in the assessment that the subject of reassessment and its related parties fail to convincingly justify the lawful source of income and assets referred to in Article D / 3. of the Annex to the Constitution and Article 30 of Law no. 84/2016. The subject of revaluation does not justify the financial sources of expenditure and savings for the years 2003, 2004 and 2005, and is in a condition of non-declaration of assets and insufficient disclosure, as referred to in Articles D, paragraphs 1 and 5, of the Annex to the Constitution and Article 61/3 of Law no. 84/2016.
