A confirmation of the salary of the MP of the “rebirth” Alfred Peza while running RTV Ora News television has put in jeopardy both the owner of television Ylli Ndroqi and the MP.
The former friendship between Peza and Ndroq is struck by a debate they have had two days ago. Put under the pressure of the investigation initiated by HIDAA and the prosecution for wealth of about a million dollars, Peza has sought the help of former employer for justifying documents.
According to internal sources at RTV Ora News, it is learned that the “renaissance” MP has contacted television president Ylli Ndroqi asking for documents on his real wage while running this television.
But since Peza’s stated salary was 80 thousand new bark, Ndroqi refused to change the documents. He learned that he told Peza that his salary had been declared according to a public media release and that he could appear at the finance office to see the contribution booklet.
But this has been rejected by Peza, who has demanded payment for real wages, as the MP himself has said has paid thousands of euros while running RTV Ora News.
Ndroqi has categorically refused this request by telling the MP that his salary is what has been declared to the tax and social security bodies. After this rejection, there seems to have been a fierce debate between them, as Alfred Peza has been betrayed.
His former employer’s refusal to help makes the situation of a “renaissance” MP more difficult, which will now have to justify ALL 1.13 billion in savings of 80,000 ALL.
The General Prosecutor’s Office has announced the investigative launch against MP Peza for the criminal offenses of “Cleaning of products of criminal offense or criminal activity” and “Concealing or false declaration of property”, acts which, if they are certified by the court, the Socialist MP endangers a sentence of up to ten years in prison.
Earlier, Boldnews.al informed that on Friday morning, RTV Ora News president Ylli Ndroqi was presented at the premises of the prosecution body. It is unknown whether this visit of Ndroqit is related to Peza’s case, but a few hours later, the General Prosecutor’s Office announced the launch of investigations against the Socialist MP.
So far, Alfred Peza and Ylli Ndroqi have not provided any clarification to the public regarding the salary of 80,000 new Leks, but apparently this issue is now attributed to the prosecution body.
For three years Alfred Peza has worked at RTV Ora News, owned by Ylli Ndroq. Initially, he started working as Director of Information and then held the position of the General Director of RTV Ora News. Also, Peza had two political shows a week, “Debate Hour” and “Interview Hour”. The salary spilling on former journalist Alfred Peza at that time exceeded 10,000 euros.
