Judge Boçi was acquitted by the Vlora Court of Appeals over the charges and has since demanded his reinstatement.
“The Council decided to suspend the examination of the claims submitted by Judge Guximtar Boçi, for his return to the post of President of the Gjirokastra Judicial District Court and to the post of Judge because the claims are pending before the Administrative Court of Appeal.
Following the meeting, the Council decided to reject Mr. Braj Vatnikaj, for the return to the office of judge. Also, the Council approved the verification of the legal conditions and criteria for the recruitment as a candidate of Mr. Ligoraq Toshi ”, the official announcement reads.
