Candidates for Attorney General will conduct interviews before the LCP on 13 November.
This at least according to the calendar made public by the Supreme Prosecutorial Council, which announces that following the process of evaluating the candidates for General Prosecutor, announces that on 13.11.2019, in the Meeting Room, the High Judicial Council, Blvd. “Bird I”, interviews with all three candidates in the race will take place.
Pursuant to Article 19, point 1 of the Regulation “On the Criteria and Procedure for the Selection of Candidates for the Prosecutor General”, interviews with candidates will be recorded by audio and video.
The schedule of the interviews will be as follows:
1. Arta Mark 9:30
2. Fatjona Memçaj 11:00
3. Olsian Wednesday 12:30
The council asks candidates to make arrangements to appear before the Supreme Prosecutorial Council on the announced date and time.
Candidates will be take answer nominaly and at the email address that they have given at the time of application.

The Supreme Prosecutorial Council has approved today in the next meeting held in the General Prosecutor’s Office meeting the list of names of candidates for General Prosecutor who meet the legal requirements after the preliminary evaluation. The meeting was held in the presence of 9 members and in the absence of members Besnik Cani and Nurihan Seiti.
Pursuant to Article 148 / a of the Constitution, Article 22 of Law No.97 / 2016 “On the Organization and Functioning of the Prosecution in the Republic of Albania”, as well as Article 17 / point 4 of the Regulation “On the Criteria and Procedure for Selection of candidates for General Prosecutor ”, the High Prosecutorial Council decided to approve the list with the names of the candidates for General Prosecutor who meet the legal requirements in alphabetical order as follows:
1. Arta Marku
2. Fatjona Memçaj
3. Olsian Çela
The candidates listed in this decision will continue their race for the position of Attorney General. This decision was adopted by a majority vote.
Also, the Supreme Prosecutorial Council, following the process of evaluating the candidates for General Prosecutor, announces that on November 13, 2019 starting at 9.30 will be conducted interviews with all three candidates in the race in alphabetical order.
