RTV Ora News is again at the center of allegations of unrealistic employee salaries. Another scandal is published after that of Alfred Peza claiming he was paid thousands of euros, but in fact the court decision showed that the deputy had received only 800,000 Lek old as General Director of RTV Ora News.
This time, this is the “icon” of this television, Ilva Tare, who holds the position of the Director of Information as well as the director of the “Tonight” program at RTV Ora News. It was the famous denunciation site “Lolita” which has published a document showing the declared salary of Ilva Tares, which is compared to that of RTV Ora News President Pastor Ylli Ndroq.
The document received from Spending Data shows that Ilva Tare was paid in 2015, no less or more, but 304 764 lek (new). In a simple calculation, Tare has received 25,397 ALL (new) per month, a salary comparable to a boutique vendor.
It seems unbelievable how an all-powerful television director has the salary of a cleaner.
“It is my pleasure that there are EU projects, SOROS and some other organization that justify Fred Peze’s colleagues’ salaries, rags and luxury homes, that they would be for the sake of the salaries they have declared to Ylli Ndroq’s cleaner,” Lolita writes.
In fact, rumors circulating at RTV Ora News, Ilva Tare can be paid from 4000 to 5000 euros per month. For two and a half years, Tare has taken control of television as RTV Ora News Information Director.
In a paper published at Javanews.al, Tare journalist defended her former colleague Alfred Peza, saying those who denounced are hypocrite and mercenary. But like Tara, Alfred Peza fell into the “trap” of the fictitious wages declared in RTV Ora News of Ylli Ndroq.
For more than 3 years Alfred Peza has worked at RTV Ora News, holding the position of Director of Information and then the Director General. According to a public release, he was paid by Ylli Ndroqi about 800,000 ALL every month. But Peza had earlier stated that this television had received thousands of euros, which were spared along with other revenues by creating a deposit of 1.13 billion ALL.
For this contradictory statement by MP Peza, the General Prosecutor’s Office has announced the investigative launch for the criminal offenses of “Cleaning of products of criminal offense or criminal activity” and “Concealing or false declaration of property” by the court, the Socialist MP risks a sentence of up to ten years in prison.
The president of RTV Ora News, Ylli Ndroqi, was also seen in the premises of the prosecution body, and it is not known if he will be summoned to clarify the 25,000 lek fee of the Information Director, Ilva Tare.
