The operation conducted in Vlora where 7 tonnes of cannabis packed for export to Albania is seized is very light. The police did not provide accurate information about the operation because some of its members are involved in the drug trafficking network.
Messages provided by Boldnews.al speak for a well-organized network of traffickers.
One of the smuggling traffickers talking to the other trafficker asks how much the cannabis is going to buy. The answer is that cannabis should be purchased as soon as possible by the growers, otherwise it will eventually become mown.
How did the operation begin?
The operation did not start from the Vlora Police investigations, but after the State Information Service indexes. SIS agents had initiated an operation to identify cannabis parcels in the Vlora area.
After detecting the parcels and tapping the traffickers, SHIK turned to the prosecution and not the police, fearing the desertion of the operation.
Having received the SIS file, the prosecution immediately issued a series of arrest sheets to people suspected of being a drug trafficker.
But the prosecution’s action found the police unprepared. Blue uniforms have hesitated initially to enforce banning orders.
Meanwhile, following the Prosecution’s request, the Rapid Reaction Force went to the Vlora River area to take over the operation itself.
But when SNS specials arrived at the scene, Vlora Police denied that there were tons of cannabis in that place.
But the insistence of prosecutors’ police police officers has led the perpetrators to enter the area.
As soon as they arrived at the cannabis site they were targeted by the villagers who did not have the slightest resistance.
From here there is strong suspicion that the villagers who guard cannabis had previous contacts with the police and for reasons they were not afraid of the operation.
Boldnews.al sources from the FNSH confirm that they have sequestered over 7 tons of cannabis pressed.
Seized drugs are stored in a warehouse and are secretly stored by the police. The latter has issued injunctions, but have not given any official figures as to how the cannabis was seized.
But here the suspicions of the prosecution have arisen. Prosecutors suspect that the police are hiding the huge amount of cannabis since the rumble of the operation is overwhelmed again to surrender most of it to the traffickers.
Prosecution doubts come after the name of the director of Vlora Police has come out as well as the State Intelligence Service.
It is learned that the operation has started for two weeks and other strong developments are expected to take place. Meanwhile, Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri attacked the prosecution today.
