The contraction of the opposition is now official and irreversible. Suffice to look at the philosophy in its direction where some individuals and few families control the political life of this party.

The problem does not end here, it starts here. Inspired by the central direction of this party, this phenomenon also occurs in local branches where a minority, a handful of people, hostage the opposition. Not only does it have new funnels and openings of this Party, but instead clans at the local and central level have caught the throat and do not allow the breathing of the debate that for democracy either is in question.

The statements of the Democratic Party of Democrats for Democracy Party and the free elections held by the largest opposition party were dissolved as salt water as soon as a list of the National Council of Youth of this political force was made public. If you do an analysis of the winning individuals of the list, it notes that nepotism, clientelism, and corruption are the hallmarks of producing such a list.

Boldnews has contacted leaders of the Democratic Party and the Youth Forum and has analyzed all the nepotistic and clientelist reports that this list has provided.

The candidacy for the National Council was made without clear criteria and local candidates who lost the races for a handful of votes as in Vlora and Fier did not run at all as members of the National Council.

What is noticeable is the fact that three individuals have totally occupied the list of the FRPD National Council.

Arben Ristan’s supporters, Flamur Nokë and Keltis Kruja are those who, although in a vicious circle, because they do not produce more votes, but rather less, find and lack of human resources have introduced all their friends there including brothers, sisters and cousins.

This vicious circle of these individuals, perhaps taking advantage of the lack of experience of President Basha, has managed to make a list that is perhaps the weakest of the intellectual values and less representative for the strata and groupings of this party.

Concretely, it is noticed that cities such as Pogradec, Kuçova, Lezha, Dibra, Kolonja, Gjirokastra and Devolli have no representatives in this council, while Saranda and Arben Ristanit are represented not few but with 8 members. The same thing happens with Vlora where former mortgage employees accused by the prosecution for abuse of office have escorted the top and bottom list.

After all these clear visible and close links with DP leaders in the center and base, continues a second round with friends and group friends who organized and executed the election farce in the FRPD. Rhetoric that the opposition is opening up and that there is new flow seems not only unbelievable but a pure lie.

And thinking that this is happening in the Youth Forum elections, where the interests are smaller, the expected elections in the DP branches will give us another picture of the war that the clans do within this party, and the terrain and the spirit that secretaries have managed to get to President Basha. Adventurers and masters of intrigue continue to be strengthened within this party, even though they have led and are always pushing it down with electoral results.

At least the official PD does not accuse the other party of lack of democracy, because one thing you do not have yourself is not as you seek others. The opposition has little or no time to reflect and really open by not turning the party into the club of friends and friends because the elections came and the result could be bitterer than that of June 2013 and 2015.
